Well, it depends on what you want to do here, where you want to go, what you want to see, etc.
You can get round-trip flight/hotel packages into Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago O’Hare, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson, and probably a few others for less than $1,500 (I based the price off a one week stay). But if you want to see one of the coastlines or something, it’s going to be pricey to rent a car and drive anywhere with gas at $4 a gallon.
