In rank order: (of the places I’ve stayed in Vegas)
1) Bellagio
2) Alladin — very nice for the price!
3) Luxor
4) MGM
5) Excalibur — not recommended, but cheap
6) Motel 6 — when you’re looking for a REAL deal
If you want the BEST of the BEST (period), it’s either Bellagio, Wynn, or Venetian.
Venetian gets my nod — exceptional service, great casino, GREAT restaurants.
The other two are dandy also!!!
If you want a hotel for BEST VALUE, i’d choose either I.P., Barbary Coast, or perhaps Bally’s. A room can usually be ‘had’ for not much dough & those 3 places are respectable, clean, safe.
BEST time of the year for chepest rates is ALWAYS the 2 weeks preceding xmas. Many shows are out of town, etc. The casinos will be nearly vacant… rooms are cheap !!!! Never a line for a buffet, etc, etc.

The best is the Four Seasons, I don’t think that there is that much of an off season, it’s busy in LV all the time.

The best for the money is Imperial Palace. Small casino, but affordable and good service.
