Traveling to Paris, good cheap hotel?
Cheap HotelsDoncesar asked:
I am traveling with my wife and two kids (12 and 17). I got my tickets for free but I am on a very low budget and everything seems to be very expensive in paris. Please recommend me places to stay keeping in mind that I am traveling with two kids.

Good luck,We traveled to Paris back in 86 with our 12 year old son.
We got a modest room in a clean hotel with our own bath.
All three of us had to sleep in one double bed since they had no cots.
It was well over $100. at that time.
We spent at least $300. per day with hotel, food and sightseeing expenses.
You may be able to afford a Tunesien sandwich in the Latin Quater or eat in your room.

Try the Hotel Du Cadran near the Eiffel Tower
I’ve read lots of good reviews about it

I have stayed in the hostels of this group.
They have singles, doubles and dorms, also for just 4 people as far as I know.
They mention that they have hostels for young people but I have never been asked for my age, nor did I ever see a maximum age.
It is in a nice and central part of town, just a few minutes walk from the Notre Dame, and within one minute of a busy street with shops and metro stops.
Worth reading the site and maybe sending them an e-mail for more info.
