Does anyone know any cheap hotels in Boston?

I’m a college student, so I don’t exactly have money to throw around, but I’ve always wanted to go to Boston, so I’m looking for a really cheap hotel. I understand it’s Boston, but the less money I spend on a hotel, the more I have to spend on Sox gear!

Your fun in Boston is really gonna be determined on the hotel and its location. If you are not willing to throw down $95-$115 night for something in Fanuel Hall or Downtown, or Back Bay. Then I wouldnt come to Boston at all. You are not going to have fun. Cause you are going to get a hotel outside the city $85 a nite, in which you need a car to drive into the city, and GUESS WHAT? Parking is extremely hard to find in this city, as well as confusing.

There is nothing “really” cheap, but there are some more moderately priced, renovated, European-style hotels. One, the Buckminster, is just a block from Fenway Park. Others include the Shawmut Inn and The Clarendon Inn. Also check out The Milner.
