Hotels.com BUT, if you have the time you can often find cheaper rates by contacting the hotels site. There are so many and they are competitive, also try all the regular travel.coms, again they often have higher prices than the hotels web site

Priceline.com has Excalibur in June at $51 per night. Or you can gamble on name your own price and see how low you can go, but you won’t get to pick your hotel. I usually start at a little below half the going rate. Priceline tells you if your price is likely to be rejected. Then you just keep going up a dollar at a time until it stops telling you that. I’ve gotten some good bargains on hotel rooms this way. You can pick the general area you want, but not the specific hotel.

Usually if you can wait until a couple of days before you leave, the hotels cut their hotel prices in half and can get really cheap! I learned that last week when I went to Vegas. Otherwise, try orbitz or hotels.com. I went through Expedia and it’s not necessarily cheaper and once you purchase the room, you cannot cancel (even if you find something cheaper)…and you can’t use any of the hotel “perks/coupons” since it was booked through expedia and not the hotel…I also learned that last week and it was a hassle. Good luck!

The cheapest way I know of to get a hotel is to bid on Priceline. While there are negatives to it, like not being able to choose your hotel, you will be able to name a price that will ultimately be lower than anything you see on hotel websites. If you want to stay at a particular hotel, then Priceline is not for you.
If you bid on Priceline, you will utilize a ’star’ system for bidding (you can bid on a 5-star, 4-star or 3-star (or lower) property).
Here’s what some of these hotels are in the Strip Area
5 Star - Bellagio, Venetian
4 Star - MGM Grand, Mirage, Ballys, Treasure Island, Aladdin, New York New York, Luxor
3 Star - Flamingo, Harrah’s, Stratosphere, Riviera, Sahara
There are others, but if you bid on Las Vegas Strip hotels on Priceline, this should give you an idea of the type of properties you might get when you choose how many stars of a hotel on which you wish to bid.
Best of luck in Vegas

You will get a differenty answer from everyone on this based on their hotel experience. Here’s my suggestion.
Stay on the strip in the center of all of the hotel locations so that you can walk to see all of the hotels
and casinos, and all of the free attractions. The best place to stay to do that is in one of the hotels on or
nearest to Flamingo Rd & the Strip. At that corner is Ceasers, Bellagios, the Flamingo, Ballys, and The Paris hotels.
The next thing to consider in picking the BEST priced place is prices offered. Rates go down in the summer and again after Thanksgiving, until about mid-January (except new years eve when prices double). So pick a place that has the best price for you. Wynns, Ceasers and Bellagios will cost top dollar (like $150 and up) during the summer. Flamingo, Ballys and some others you can get into for around $100, but most times for less, during the low seasons. I have stayed at Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, MGM, Monte Carlo, Bellagios, Ceasers, the Rio, the Flamingo, Ballys, and Harrahs. But the BEST priced place for me when I go is who has the best price on their web site. All of the Strip hotels are great. So shop the web places below, look at the hotel rate calendars and go when the price is the lowest. That’s the way to get the best price and stay at the best place.
You probably cannot beat on priceline and other web sites what you can get directly from the hotel.
