Where can I search for cheap flights?
Cheap Flightsmemeluke asked:
I need to find the cheapest flight possible:
I am very flexible with dates. I want to find the cheapest combination of terms. I want:
-one way
-from most any airport in the east US to most any airport in the west US
-can leave/arrive any hour of the day
-very flexible about leave/arrive dates
Where can I search for the cheapest flights? On priceline.com I have to set specific details that I don’t have to be restrained to. Where can I just find cheap flights and change my schedule to fit them? Thanks so much! ( I will vote for best answers by the way- your work will be rewarded…) Thanks!!!

Try Travelocity, they will compare multiple different flights. Hope that helps.

go to, this is by far THE BEST travel site out there. Sidestep searches multiple travel sites at once (orbitz, travelocity, priceline, onetravel, etc.) You can choose one way or roundtrip, pick a preferred airline, categorize by price, stops, departure, etc, and you can also book hotel packages. You can also pick flexible airports so that you can search nearby cities for better deals. Before you book a flight, I would also recommend checking out what type of airplane and what airline you would be on, and go to to find the best seats, entertainment features, etc.

Tip: if you book at least 2 months before travel, you’ll get the better price.
