Two friends and I are going to New York City next weekend; any ideas on good, clean, cheap hotels?

.. we’re also driving down and plan on leaving our car at the hotel. Trains and subways are going to be our way to get around NYC.

Stay in NJ and take the metro train into the city it will be a third of the price

Definately The Pod Hotel…….My friends and I stayed there in August. Great location, cute and funky hotel.
Quite inexpensive……check it out.#
