Im trying to look for cheap houseboat hotels in Amsteram. What web-site should i go to?

My boyfriend and i live in Europe and were trying to go to Amsterdam and his friend told him there is a website where you can stay in a houseboat hotel for cheap, but he forgot the website does anyone know it and its not houseboat hotel either.

   Hi,

   there is a nice boat they transferred into a permanent hotel, for which reason it is called a botel, from BOat and moTEL.

   It is situated in the IJ, a kind of lake in the center of Amsterdam, opposite of the Central Station and on walking distance (after a short ride on the ferry) from all the highlights of downtown Amsterdam (Dam Square, shopping area, restaurants, bars, red-light district (which is actually a nice area to walk trough at the beginning of the evening because of all the canals, the trees, the lights over the canals etc.), Leidseplein, Rembrandplein (both filled with little bars, street cafes and especially the latter with live music).

   Try the website, you will find all information and photo’s there.
