cheap hotels/motels in London without booking in advance?

I’m looking for a cheap hotel/motel which doesn’t require booking in advance. Is it possible to just book a room when I get there and pay. Or do they all require you to book beforehand?

   travel lodge or travel inn would be your best bet!
